Which probiotic strains are in the Mouthwash. Are there any sugar or sugar substitutes in your mouthwash (i.e. stevia, isomalt, etc)Updated 3 months ago
There is so sugar or sugar substitute in any of our products. Our probiotics are spore/soil based and do not require sugars to stay alive. The plant based probiotics in products like supplements, yogurt, etc. are cultures that feed off of sugar to stay alive. There are many plant based probiotic pet products, cleaners and personal care products on the market, but they all require a form of sugar to stay alive.
There is a BIG difference between plant based and spore based probiotics.
You can find information about this on our website under Why Probiotics. We have a proprietary blend of FDA GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) probiotics that are designed to collectively remove and prevent biofilm. The plaque on your teeth is biofilm. To let you know how safe our mouthwash is, 70% of our P2 customers drink our mouthwash.
