What's In P2 Products
All P2 Probiotic Products incorporate EPA Safer Choice food-grade, pH neutral, all-natural and organic transparent ingredients. We believe in complete transparency - every ingredient is clearly listed on our labels.
Core Ingredients (in relevant products):
Soil-Based Probiotics: FDA GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) probiotics in ALL products. Most of our strains are in the Bacillus family (subtilis, licheniformis, megaterium, pumilus). Every strain we use is on the FDA GRAS list.
Organic Coconut Surfactant: In Surface Cleaner, Washer Additive, Fruit & Veggie Cleaner, Body Wash, and Pet Shampoo. Natural, gentle cleaning power without harsh chemicals.
Organic Spearmint and Organic Vanilla: In various products for light, natural scent.
Organic Glycerin: In wound care products (Pro-Heal and Pet-Heal Cleaner and Treatment) for enhanced skin conditioning.
Biosurfactants: Naturally occurring compounds created by the probiotics that reduce surface tension, enhancing cleaning and penetration into biofilm.
Enzymes: Naturally occurring biological catalysts created by the probiotics that break down organic molecules, enhancing effectiveness.

Most of our strains are in the Bacillus family. Every strain we use is on the FDA GRAS list. The specific combination of strains in each product is a proprietary blend protected under US Trade Secrets, but all are naturally-occurring, soil-based spore-forming probiotics.

What Products Should You Avoid Using With P2 Probiotics?
Some products neutralize the effectiveness of our soil-based probiotics. We recommend avoiding products that contain:
Essential oils (including tea tree oil and eucalyptus)
Castor oil
Silver
Chemical ingredients in conventional toothpaste
Chemical cleaners and disinfectants
Water Type Matters: Use spring water or filtered water to mix with our concentrates. Never use distilled water - the minerals in spring water activate the probiotics, while distilled water lacks these essential minerals.
If you need to use other products, allow time between application of P2 probiotics and the potentially neutralizing product.
